Youth & Civic Engagement
Activities and programs that involve youth leaders in improving their community while developing themselves and their capacity to become agents of change. Activities range from roundtable discussions and participation on public boards and commissions to community organizing and public-awareness campaigns. We will also reach those that are less fortune, by hosting free events, feeding the hungry, and outreach. This knowledge is then used to affect systems change and transform communities.

Youth-Adult Partnership
A youth-adult partnership is one in which adults work in full partnership with young people on issues facing youth and/or on programs and policies affecting youth. Effective youth-adult partnerships work toward solving community problems and improving youth.

Youth development is a process that prepares a young person to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood and achieve his or her full potential. Youth development is promoted through activities and experiences that help youth develop social, ethical, emotional, physical, and cognitive competencies.
